Beestige Boelbos, the adventure forest

Step into the Beastly Woods, where children and parents discover the animal world of Hoge Kempen National Park. Guided by the Adonis blue butterfly, children will embark on a series of playful challenges. Sneak like a fox, wriggle like a snake, leap like a deer or toad, run like a lizard, hide like a wild boar, or build a bird's nest like a robin.

The forest also has an outdoor amphitheatre, ideal for storytelling, ranger activities or lessons in a real outdoor classroom. Right next to the play area, you'll find even more adventure, such as a sand dune, a splash pad with play elements and a climbing tree. All of this is surrounded by the Hourglass Trail.
